Titles: The Art of the Title

A title sequence is the method by which cinematic films or television programs present their title, key production and cast members, or both, utilizing conceptual visuals and sound
As part of the thriller film we have to include titles in our film. I decided to go online in research into title sequences. This is when i came across a site called The Art of the Title. This is a website with one of the largest collections of film and television title sequences. The website looks at the titles, displays them , than discusses them.
When looking at the title sequences on the site, i was looking at what information was given. The majority of films follow a structure on who is introduced where, i.e the actors, directors, etc.
They appears to be in the structure, or close to the structure of :-

• the producer/s of the film

• Main actors

• other actors in the film

• Other Roles within the film (i.e make up etc)
